State Library (2)

These decoration surround a marble mosaic of the Tasman Map on the floor of the vestibule of the Mitchell wing.

Yes, I love this map. Done by a couple of Italian brothers, if I recall correctly. Did you use your F1.8 for these?

I think I must have for the inside shots (these are all from the archive - trying to use them up). Sometimes its hard to remember which camera I used as my new(ish)little camera is also extremely good in low light (F2) has full manual operation and has zoom capability so I often use that.

I have always thought these floors are beautiful and suit the quiet of the Mitchell Library.

They really are amazing. Terrific captures too. I've never had success with my shots there in the past but I'll have to try again.

Oops, I forgot to mention. I didn't go through Mirazozo at the Opera House because I was there at lunchtime and there was quite a queue but after seeing their website I think I should.
