Theme Day - Postcard Worthy

Taken last year in Silverton, an abandoned mining town, now a bit of an artist's colony, outside of Broken Hill in the far west of New South Wales.

I can't believe you had to dig this one up. It would have been on my blog the day after taking it. Such beautiful colours and the tree makes it for me. It looks like a perfect scene for a bit of timelapse.

I would really like to visit Broken Hill and Silverton. This picture inspires me to do it soon.

Fab postcard image Ann, the warm colours are so appealing, it has a real Australian look about it.

It is shuttered... but I wonder if it is still used? Great shot!

Golly, this would be a great place to live. I really like the structure of that dead tree outside, too.

The combination of colors and composition and feeling turns photo into work of art. Your postcard proves it. Great.
