When I lived in Sydney,(quite some years ago now), I visited Joadja a couple of times! It seems from your posts that the road there has upgraded somewhat! I found it a hair-raising, winding experience not advised on rainy days. I also remember the little stream with slippery rocks that needed to be negotiated on foot to get right into the town! Your photo is a great reminder of a wonderful experience wandering the old ghost town! It certainly had some atmosphere you could feel!
Brilliant series of images from Joadja Ann. I went right back to the beginning and love the many mediums you've chosen to show the old town site. I'm guessing a population of 1100 would have been considered quite big for those days, fascinating to think that many of them were Scottish, wonder if any were ancestors of mine!
Hi Ann I have loved the wonderful photos of Joadja. They are fantastic. I think it will be a place that I will visit in the future. Thank you for them. Regards Kim
