You choose your B&W shots sooo well. Is this a disused mine or an abandoned house?
Your image raises more questions than answers, Ann - but great to look at anyway, with good textures and depth of light and shadows!
One of the buildings associated with a disused mine. There's so many abandoned buildings out there falling into decay, either from closed mines or whole towns which were abandoned when the Ghan railway was rerouted.
Great shot...it looks like a bomb site but I see its an old mine site.
It's certainly seen better days, but it makes a fine study in textures. Old buildings offer so many photo opportunities.
lovely composition. amazing depth and drama! :)
I like this one Ann. The perspective, the tonality and the light especially are so well done.
At first it made me think this was some ancient ruin in Europe or Egypt.
