Your capture in mono-chrome accentuates the reflections on the pond and the differing textures of the surrounds .... I like it a lot Ann ... did you use a tripod for your Japanese Garden shots? They are exceptional.

No Dianne, all hand held. I don't carry the tripod much and am not very good with it. The new camera is pretty good in low light.

I agree with Jim, this looks like it could actually be IN China, hundreds of years ago, how amazing the difference colour/or not can make. Lovely shot Ann.

This does work really well in monochrome ... helps to focus on all lines and the turned up ends but also has a lovely depth and reflections.
