Sky Watch Friday

Here's another gratuitous shot of our beautiful coastline. The sculpture in the foreground is:

Leonard Sabol
Obelisk
Materials: Stainless steel
Dimensions: 180 cm x 120 cm x 80 cm
Artist's statement: "Obelisk" is a proof to myself that I can make anything of steel.

Here's a close up:

Wonderful view of the coast and skyline, shows off some of the best the region has to offer.

Great idea to include the sculpture, it sure is different.

Thanks for sharing with everyone in Sky Watch Friday.

Hi Ann, It is of great interest to
come and see your photography around Sidney. The sea has a splendid colour and you are so right our beaches are just so beautiful.I love sculptures when they are challenging nature like this stainless steel one. Great SWF.
Thank you for stopping by.

You can post shots like this any time you wish. The coastline around Bronte/Tamarama is just glorious.

Thanks for the comment earlier today. 52 hours was because they locked us out of a flight at LHR and we had to fight to get on another one! And they lost our luggage to boot.

The new job is still with the university - just with a faculty instead of with the Centre.
