This cute little ferry runs scenic cruises on Port Hacking and into the Royal National Park on the southern outskirts of Sydney.
Its (slightly) bigger sister, the Curranulla, makes the regular ferry trip from Gunnamatta Bay in Cronulla across to Bundeena.

So you went then? Excellent!
It is a great little ride isn't it? I found the scenery on the trip to and fro excellent and I really felt 1000 miles from care.
I thought all the cute ferries had gone! Must look it up when next we're down.

Julie, I ended up not going to Bundeena but doing the 3 hour cruise round Port Hacking and into the National Park as far as Audley Weir - all for $20. It was lovely. Then I walked from Gunnamatta Bay, around the point back to Cronulla Beach, which was a lot further than I remembered.
That was probably wise of you - Bundeena is billed as an artists colony but I did not see a lot of talent on display when I was down there last year. The Australian bush and coast-line is definitely the attraction.
Peter, the cute ferries have certainly NOT died out. There are some on the Central Coast, too. Give me time and I will discover more in Sydney, I feel sure ...
