I guess you don't get loads of snow and ice in the winter on that glass roof as it would break and fill up the interior before winter is over. It sure makes a nice picture though of what the sky looks like.

The new glassed in bits around the back are quite pretty, but the entire building, like many of our hospitals, is very ramshackle.
