The Japanese wedding industry is pretty keen on Sydney as a destination. Here a young couple poses for photos at the Opera House, oblivious to the passing tourists and the odd rogue photographer.
This continues to astound me. They continue to come even though the only people who attend their wedding seem to be travel agents and photographers. Sydney cannot be that attractive that you can survive without friends and family. Maybe, they get married in Japan and just come out here for their honeymoon and get their photograph taken in all the top tourist spots.
Sydney is really very popular for Japanese weddings. I saw a service on the lawns of the Botanic Gardens on the day I took all my recent photos around there and there was another couple having snaps taken a short distance away near Mrs Macquarie's Chair.
I like the wedding but the people around them will end up messing up the picture. But that might not be a concern to the movie maker and other photographer. It does make a nice view from your angle.
I answered your comment about Audrey and the lighting back on the blog...
The way the sun was coming in and putting highlights on her seemed to me worth the picture and it turned out better than I thought. Thanks for the visit and comment.

I find it kinda sad ...
Like rogue photographers though ...
And right outside my daughter's workplace.
Julie, I suspect they have a traditional Japanese wedding then buy a western wedding/honeymoon package.
Bill - lucky girl, I'd love to work down there, did get an interview once but not the job.
