Nice lines!

Very nice. I like the different surfaces on the foreground steps, and I like all the lines and angles.
I'm very curious though - what is that building in front of the Sydney Harbour YHA? I seem to see the lines of the windows through it, and it puzzles me. My ancient brain can't work it out :(

Stairs always make for interesting subjects - impressing textures as well.

I am sooo envious! I tried to capture all these stairs a few weeks ago when I did the post about door 64 and the choko vine. But pesky tourists kept appearing around the steps from the new YHA and coming down the steps, ruining the line that you have captured so well.

I like this Ann. The composition and lines are very nice, but the best part is the contrasting material of the steps.

Thanks for the info on the "building" and the archaeological dig.
