Jessica Watson, the youngest person to sail solo non-stop and unassisted around the World. The photo was taken from the rooftop beer garden of the Glenmore Hotel in the Rocks where several Sydney, and two Brisbane bloggers met for a very pleasant lunch. At the time the lunch was arranged (thank you
Julie) we had no idea we would have this spectacle to watch. I certainly wouldn't have wanted to be amongst the crowd waiting on the steps of the Opera House - she was due at about 11.30am and finally arrived at something like 3pm.

What a photo! I was up on that rooftop about this time last year, but didn't have this to watch... still love that beer garden.. and the food!
