Lake Eyre is normally a dry salt pan in the South Australian desert, right now thanks to heavy rain and flooding across inland Queensland earlier in the year, its feeder rivers are running and water is flowing into the lake. Short break in transmission while I go and have a look. Back in a couple of weeks.

Looking forward to seeing the photos!
Yes, me too. Photos are a must. I want to see how you cope with birdies.
I did not realise you were going for two weeks. I thought it was until the middle of next week. Ooops ...
Half your luck, bon voyage.
Lucky you I would love to see that.
envious - as green as the desert is now
I'm off there too. It will be September before I'm posting -- it will be fun to compare.
OOO goodie ... both of you ... what joy!!
Not sure that I would want a thousand images AND the processing involved with RAW though. I am still only half-way through my Kimberleys trip, but I do have a blessed distraction!!
Look forward to having you back in the saddle for SkyWatch tomorrow.
