Art and About - Little Sydney Lives

My favourite a photo by 9 year old Liam Jones of his soccer team putting hands together after the game.

WHAT IF we saw Sydney from a new perspective – a knee high perspective? To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Sydney Life, we’ve asked children 11 years and under to submit photographs that show us Sydney through their eyes. Our judges have selected their favourites, bringing a delightful exhibition of large-scale images from Sydney’s not so large-scale photographers to Hyde Park’s Sandringham Gardens.

The photographers are aged between 3 and 11 years old. The quality of the work is amazing.

Interesting that they hung them around Sandringham Gardens. I thought the homeless man was art, at first.

The hands photo is fabulous. I love the way you've framed it.

Amazing indeed, and it is good to give these youngsters a positive association with art.

I do like the hands too Anne, such a good composition for one so young.

Thank you for your kind words.
Liam was also selected for the 2013 Little Sydney Lives which is hanging in Hyde Park.
Here's a photo of Liam with his self portrait Underwater.
