That is a nice series of photos. I am not familiar with the needle but it reminds me of a similar thing in Seattle. Maybe they share the same creator. Nice post.
Thanks, all. Yes abe, Centrepoint Tower (the needle) is very similar to the one in Seattle. For a long while it was the tallest in the Southern Hemisphere (though no longer), can't remember if the Seattle one (which I've been up) is taller.
great catch for Sky Watch Friday! earth and sky are excellent schoolmasters, and teach some of us more than we can ever learn from books. Mine’s up too hope you can drop by but if you already visited then thanks.
A warm Sky Watch welcome... what a great set of pictures you have for the rest of us... excellent Sky Watch post.. I must also say how much I like the Puddle post below.. another awesome capture.
Thank you for joining in with Sky Watch this week and helping to make it special.

Reminds me of picture series like Monet's haystacks or Rouen Cathedral: the same subject in the changing light of an entire day.
What a great series of photos, like the changing colours. Welcome to SWF.
Welcome!
This looks like an urban crow's nest.
Welcome to Sky Watch! Your photos are lovely. I particularly like the ones with the pink cast to them. Amazing!
