Sydney Heritage (2)

The Lands Department Building featured yesterday has niches around its exterior, each containing the statue of an explorer. This is Allan Cunningham, an English botanist and explorer who travelled within New South Wales in the 1820s collecting plants.

Hello! Thanks for your photo of Allan Cunningham. I have seen this sculpture from a distance but you photo is very sharp. I came across your photo when I was looking for some information about Marley's Plain which is a place that Allan Cunningham named. Your site came up because you have a blog on Bob Marley.
