I think I chose incorrectly and shall fix this for next year.
The play was appropriate for its era but has not aged well. People no longer whinge about their upbringing and blame all their problems on ther parents. Nowadays, people just suck it up and get on with it. Become masters of their own destiny. Watching Americans bitch about each other without taking their life into their own hands was boring theatre.
I also thought that Nevin acted the pants off Hurt.
I think that under the Upton/Blanchette management the STC is producing too many blasts-fromn-the-past that are way too long.

There's nothing like freshly cooked fish but not out of the harbour.
He looks very well rugged up for a fisherman! I agree with Bill - not fish from the harbour.
The thought of eating fish from the harbour made me cringe.
