Weekend Reflections - Vivid - Cadman's Playground by Steve Furzey & Kam Dahtt
After nearly 200 years of functional and historic use, this significant Sydney site welcomes you to play in the light. These colourful and playful light fixtures use the very latest technology to simulate ‘Crab Beach’, create magical night light movements and even conjure the colours of summer to warm you on a winter’s night.
Steve Furzey is a Lighting Designer with Sylvania Lighting Australasia (SLA), a designer, manufacturer and distributor of lighting systems. With access to leading edge lamp technologies, SLA markets lighting fixtures for architectural, industrial/commercial and residential applications. Kam Dhatt is an international architectural lighting designer with notable projects like Malaga Museum and London’s Hermen Miller Showroom. His work seeks to portray space for its intended use with diverse appearances.
