Julie, this was taken in Martin Place, not Cook & Phillip, though I agree that I don't like what's been done there much either.
I've been to the grower's market a few times, its very close to work. Its quite small so there isn't a lot of variety. Its expensive, although the quality is good. Its handy for me to pick up some fresh vegetables or good olives etc on a Friday and there's a couple of good bread stalls but if it wasn't nearby I wouldn't go out of my way to get there. The other problem is if you get there towards the end there's not much left.
