I had Sunday in mind, too. But will check with K first. I will go by train to Westmead and it is not far from there. I missed the knights last time, so want to be there in nice time this year. Lithgow is such a long way away! I will probably leave Paddo at 9am (give or take). Let's be in touch during Saturday about it, unless you can rule it out earlier. Must check the line to Westmead too ... the ferry is nice but long and leaves a long way to walk. Not either of our forte ...
Love that mystical atmosphere of rolling steam! Intriguing expo! I scrolled through the other photos too and you mention the Southern Aurora! I travelled on it from Sydney to Melbourne many years ago! It seemed so fast and sleek and even mildly elegant (from a child's point of view that is!)
