Sky Watch Friday - Lord Howe Island - The Boatshed

One of the best things about Pinetrees is the Boatshed. Its where everyone gathers at sunset to have a drink, chat about their day and watch the sun descend into the sea. Its also a great place to sit and read.

For more Sky Watch from around the world, drop in to the home of Sky Watch Friday.

Yes, it is a drop dead gorgeous place to sit and sip in the late arvo early evening. I am still hoping to return in Autumn. Cannot say just yet, though.

The way that cloud sits on top of that hill is stunning.

It all looks so inviting, if only it weren't so far from Adelaide for someone who can no longer fly in large planes. I wouldn't mind downing a few sundowners after the sun has dipped below the yardarm.
Nice shots.

Unfortunately not, I'll show you some next Friday but the weather wasn't good and they were mostly disappointing.
