Aurora Place

This ultra modern tower sits diagonally opposite the old sandstone State Library building. It is called Aurora Place and was designed by the Italian architect Renzo Piano to counterpoint the sails of the Opera House.

To counterpoint the sails of the OH? I wonder how he thinks it does that?

I like that smokey grey shade.

Frank Llloyd Wright said that doctors can bury their mistakes, but architects can only cover them with vines.

I'm a fan of Renzo, but I'm not sure about this one. If you see a choko crop slowly creeping up the building, you know I've made up my mind!

Cheers!
